Whoever Is Living From the Living One Will Not See Death

Whoever is living from the Living One will not see death.

--Jesus, Saying 111, The Gospel of Thomas

1. The above pithy saying encapsulates the entire message of Jesus: By being sourced, moment by moment, at an Immortal Frequency one will have eternal life. The first question a student of Jesus might ask, “How do I live from the Living One?” The answer is what the seeker’s search will find.

2. The transformative process outlined in Saying 11 connects to Saying 111. In Saying 11, Jesus instructs us to make “two into one.” So at some point when you were a child you were one and then became two. At first, you were directly sourced by God since as a child you were one. Then the Ego was constructed (usually by age 3 years of age) there is identification with you as a person. In your natural state there is just present-moment awareness of what is as it arises. When one is sourced by God, then what arises will be for the highest good. In contrast, when one has become two, there is always something amiss; something is missing; something to get; something needs to be done. There is constant stress and anxiety with the brain being wired to protect itself while seeking gratifications. This constant upset is considered “normal.” To return to one’s natural state, one’s consciousness with shift from the Ego brain to the light consciousness (which is located outside the brain).

3. How does one shift to the light consciousness? In Saying 11 we are told, “During the days when you ate what is dead, you made it alive. When you are in the light, what will you do? One the day when you were one, you became two. But when you are two, what will you do?” By Jesus’ contrast between dead and alive, we see that when one is in the light, one is alive. As Jesus says, “And the dead are not alive and the living will not die” (Saying 11). The first step to entering the light is to be aware of the Ego brain and its endless chatter. You might like to try meditating for 10 minutes on your breath and as thoughts arise, then refocus on the breath. This is a concentrated meditation practice. It’s a great first step!

4. The light is the source of what you are. It is your natural state. Physical Immortality is your birthright. You were meant to live forever on planet earth by being in communion with God. Once the possibility of eternal life is considered, you are shifting off the “death instinct” and shifting on the “life instinct.”

5. If one stays in a narrowly-defined box in which one lives according to some rules and the violation of these rules means punishment, then one will always be stressed out. It is an open question whether the Ego is a necessary developmental stage (such as the oral stage in child development) which is then to be discarded as the brain develops. In any case, the punishment part of the psyche (what Freud called the “Super Ego”) will cause guilt, regret, hate, and in time death. Thus, the Super Ego needs to be killed!

6. Being a child again means one acknowledges he is not in control, but God is. It is joyously being in this moment. There is nothing for sell and nothing to get. This is a heart opening in which compassion, and forgiveness is allowed. By letting go of the past, one is free to be present.

7. Because the Ego is so powerful (it is controlled by Satan), I believe that to enter the light, one will need a powerful response: Marijuana. When one studies Saying 50, one will find that followers of Jesus have “entered the light, the place where the light came into being by itself.” In my practice, I find intending to open the Bindu Chakra will be of help here. The Bindu Chakra is located at the top of the head (the place where you part your hair) and is associated with Immortality. See: Bindu Chakra — the Main Things You Should Know About. The goal is to get the brain to stop talking to itself. Then allow the life energy to flow from the base of the spinal column to the Bindu Charka and then down in front of the body, back to the base of the spine (in the Chinese system, this is called a microcosmic orbit--See: Microcosmic orbit - Wikipedia). The goal is to meditate at the Immortal Frequency for an hour a day. A great practice is to exercise, ingest some marijuana and then lay down in a quiet place and focus on the body.

8. The meditation practice is designed help you in “living from the Living One.” This is why I study Jesus’ sayings in The Gospel of Thomas: Jesus is the conduit by which one is sourced by the Father at the Immortal Frequency. Since God is a Spirit, He can only manifest in the flesh via his messengers such as Jesus. When Jesus was resurrected from the dead, he created a medium by which one can be sourced by the light. So the follower of Jesus is resurrected with him at the Immortal Frequency by entering the light.

9. Right here, right now you are invited to live from the Living One. This is your natural way of being. It is your birthright. Thus, I invite each reader to live from the Living One and you will not see death.

How to Read the Gospel of Thomas

Before meditating on Jesus’ words, I say aloud: “Jesus, your words are life! May your words vibrate at the Immortal frequency, right here, right now. Thanks, Jesus!”

1. Read phrases, not complete sayings—The Gospel of Thomas is a saying book which has been numbered with 114 sayings. Within each saying are usually 3-4 phrases such as “the first will be last” which are linked in the saying. Note that because we have the Greek text of Thomas as a control to the Coptic, it is known that the sayings were ordered differently in each text; also, phrases have been attached to different sayings. This means: While the phrases in Thomas are Jesus’ spoken words in Aramaic, the sayings may be linked with several ideas which were not originally spoken as a unit. Thus, we study the nearly 500 phrases in Thomas, not the sayings.

2. During your daily morning devotion, which takes about 20 minutes, we meditate on Jesus’ words by finding a phrase which “strikes” you.

When you have found a phrase such as “Many who are first will be last” (Saying 4) one might consider:
* The “reversal of fortunes” is a common theme in Thomas. In this case, the worldly assessment of people’s worth is different from God’s assessment.

* Who are the “first” and who is the “last” ?

* When will this reversal occur?

3. Ask the Spirit of Truth to show you how this passage might be meaningful for you. Each person will take away a different meaning and every time one reads a passage anew, a new insight might arrive. Perhaps you feel that the buyers and merchants of this world are getting ahead; then, upon reading “many who are first will be last,” the Spirit of Truth might show you: “See that those who worship the things of this world will be last in the new world.” Of course, someone else reading this may arrive at a totally different insight and this is great!

4. Remember that your goal in reading Thomas is to find the keys to the knowledge of eternal life. In both the Greek and Coptic translations of Thomas, we have at the beginning of the texts the promise: “Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not taste death” (Saying 1). To discover the meaning of the term “death” in this promise, I invite readers to study Jesus’ words, “Adam, had he been worthy, would not have tasted death” (Saying 85). Here we see that Adam suffered both physical and spiritual death. There is no understanding, implied in this text or to my knowledge any other text, which would lead on to believe that Adam went to Hell to burn forever when he died. So the eternal life to which Jesus refers is both physical and spiritual life.

5.  Jesus is teaching wisdom.  By meditating on Jesus’ words throughout the day, one starts to think like Jesus. Example: A common theme in Jesus’ teaching is to value the most important prize and leave the rest behind. This is seen in several parables such as: catching the large fish and letting all the small fish go (Saying 8); the pearl of great price: Selling everything for this great prize (Saying 76); the great value of the one “large” sheep over the other 99 sheep ( Saying 107). So we might see how this “wisdom valuation” might apply to our lives:

* What is the most important thing in the world to me?

* Am I placing my priorities in the correct order?

* Can I leave everything behind which is not Holy?

6. Study the commentaries of Thomas with Caution. In my view, Marvin Myer’s text, The Gospel of Thomas: The Hidden Sayings of Jesus, is a neutral translation of Thomas. See: The Gospel of Thomas: The Hidden Sayings of Jesus: Marvin W ... Since nearly all Thomas scholars are secularists in the sense that they do not accept the physical resurrection of Jesus, none of these scholars are followers of Jesus. Thus, one will want to consider their interpretation with a grain of salt. By reading this blog, you will find book reviews on various commentaries which might be helpful in your quest for eternal life.

The Unified Field Theory: What Einstein Missed

Spilt a piece of wood—I am there.

Lift a stone, and you will find me there.

--Jesus, Saying 77, The Gospel of Thomas

In this essay, I sketch the broad outlines of an original model to explain the origin of the universe. I call this the “Unified Field Theory.” It elucidates what Albert Einstein missed.

1. There is only one active force in the universe: Dark matter. This matter is invisible, but researchers have been able to deduce its existence by inference. Note that I use the terms "dark matter" and "dark energy" interchangeably. This force makes up 95% of the universe. See:  What is Dark Matter? - Space.com and Dark Energy, Dark Matter | Science Mission Directorate.
Implicit in this claim:

a. There exist a void or a place of absolute stillness from which this dark matter originates. If you like, you can call it the place of God.

b. Dark matter is an expanding force.

c. Dark matter is the ether-like medium through which objects (mass) float through space. Please note that there is no pre-existing space as it is created as space itself expands.

2. The Unified Field Theory explains what Albert Einstein missed: He incorrectly thought the universe was in a steady-state and had never changed. Today, however, we know the universe is expanding. The implications of this, along with its relationship to dark matter, allows one to deduce a Unified Field Theory.

3. Encoded in the universe are natural laws or laws which pre-exist the creation of the universe. The very structure of the universe ensures that mathematics exist and proves the existence of God.

4. Matter comes from the arrangement of the elements which comes from the compression of atoms so that the nucleus of the atoms fuse together. This is done via a supernovae-like explosion in which a star collapses and then blows itself up, spewing its newly formed elements about the universe. This is how carbon was formed. Later carbon was crystalized. In the case of diamonds, carbon combined in a tetrahedral structure. See: How can graphite and diamond be so different if they are both ...

5. The speed of light, according to the Unified Field Theory, is the absolute maximum any matter can go through the ether wave (note: The ether wave is composed of dark energy). While this ether wave travels at infinite speed or more accurately travels at no speed since everything is instantaneous connected to everything else, light by the fact it has to travel through a medium creates friction. In fact, 186,000 miles per second is slow! Note that dark energy is what is propelling light.

6.  Gravity, according to the Unified Field Theory, is the result of an object existing is a medium (dark energy). Similar to children jumping on a box-spring bed, the jumping up and down creates a deflating of the bed. In space, this deflating is a bend or a curve. This implies that objects do not fall to the earth as much as the earth catches up to the object. So Isaac Newton was wrong. The apple did not fall from the tree; instead, when the apple lost its connection to the tree it no longer had any force to keep it in place. In the freefall of space, then, space caught the apple.  Note that this follows since space is constantly expanding.

7. Time is a mathematical construct which uses a reference point to compare the points in space in which objects have traveled. While Einstein posited a “time-space” dimension, this is just a mathematical construct; in reality, it is space, which is being created moment by moment (by dark energy) allows for objects to travel through space. In fact, there is no such thing as time.

8. The Unified Field Theory rejects the “Big Bang” hypothesis and instead accepts a “cold bang”: From a void, a placeless place, God through His will created dark energy/matter and allowed for laws which would allow for creation from the small to the large. This is an ongoing process and the universe will continue to expand forever.

9. A practical application of the Unified Field Theory: Dark energy could be tapped as a source of infinite energy. All that is necessary is for engineers to accept that is possible and then construct a conduit which will allow for this.

10. In this brief essay, I have presented an original model of the universe. It shows that if you “spilt a piece of wood,” God will be there; if you “lift up a stone,” there God will be. Dark matter is the connection between the physical universe and the spiritual universe. The existence of dark matter explains the expansion of space, gravity, time, and matter. It is all there is.
